Is it pointless to put a flowmaster on a V6 engine?

I have a Ford Mustang and I love the sound of pipes, but im wondering if a Flowmaster muffler might sound like crap on a regulare V6 engine.|||The best sound on that engine is to use one muffler, and then dual it from there to the bumper. There simply is not enough exhaust flow to sound good with two mufflers, regardless of brand. Yes a flowmaster or whatever, but just one. That will stop the angry bee sound!!|||I love mustangs to death and i also have flowmaster exhaust.. the muffler will give you and deeper tone and be slightly louder no matter what car you put it on. Yes, it would sound better in one with a v8 like mine, but it will improve the sound quality of whatever you choose. It all depends on what you like.|||Yes, it sound like crap.|||you should look for other people with the same setup and losten to their cars. personally i like the idea because i want to put a flowmaster on my chevy impala v-6. it wont sound annoying like imports do but you better be darn sure you want the muffler when you get it installed. keep the old one because that way you can put it back on if the flowmaster is not for you.|||It will sound like an angry bee. It's pretty much a waste of money.|||I have a Warlock muffler on my V6 Aerostar. If you run dual exhaust on the 6 cylinder it will sound like a bumble bee on crack, but a single exhaust with one muffler gave me a nice note, but not too much buzz in the sound. Single muffler improved fuel economy and torque for my van, and it should do the same for you.
